Nothing interesting inside!! out of age style, story line and charactors. A lots of unnecessary collisions and explosion whice made the movie looks stupid! Every action was planed, and everybody in the movie were idiot except the 2 super action hero!! Men, now is Sep 2002 not 1990. This is all Rambo style. People might like it if this come out 10 years earlier!!

the movie story itself is actually not bad if you think more of the little details that was in the movie, how they actually chain up together. However, I found the movie lines were a little cheesy quite often. Warners definitely has made better movies before, this is not its worst, nor its best. It can be a good entertainer if you are bored, but if you are looking for a good quality film that will impress you, this is not it.

Charlie\’s Angels gave a big boost for Lucy Liu but now she\’s fighting like Jet Li. Stretch of her Kung Fu probably cause the demise of this film. Antonio did a decent job and seeing Talisa Soto\’s return encouraging. Overall, I am a Lucy fan but this wasn\’t the right part for her in this movie.

The hype surrounding this movie would have you believe it is an action packed thriller with some serious spy vs. spy twists and turns. The reality of the film failed the hype in immesurable ways. The action was stilted and slow, and the plot left the audience scratching their heads in confusion. Even the most astute observer could not make sense of the loosley tied together action sequences and thinly drawn characters. The only bright spot is the performance of Ray Park, seen here for the first time without makeup (you may remember him as Darth Maul in “The Phantom Menace” or as Toad in “X Men”). Park has a tough role to fill as his character is never clearly defined or given a motivation for his actions, yet he rises to the challenge of a terrible script and turns in a memorable performance when other more well known actors are lost in the mire of this colossal mistake of a movie.

During the last action sequence in the movie I turned to my friend and asked him what he thought of the movie. He replied “Empty”. That is probably the best word to decribe this confusing piece of hollywood hack. It is billed as a \’Matrixesque\’ style action movie with promises of twists and turns in plot energetically stuck together with heart stopping action sequences. This is far from accurate. It comes off like a very slow and not very enjoyable video game. The action sequences are quite impressive and maybe in a film with a better story and a tighter script they may be more enjoyable. The movies idea is good but poorly executed making for a dissapointment for all involve. Lucy Lui proves she has \’action star\’ securely on her resume, where as Antonio Bandaras (the former \’Desperado\’)is looking a bit old and seems to find it hard to keep up.
You can see, with the current action movie climate, how this film got greenlit, but I doubt it looked as bad to studio execs as the end result. That excuse, however, doen\’t work when applied to the slow, cliche filled dialouge. It wanted to be so much better, and so did it\’s audience.
